As stated in Article 28 of the Decree Law No. 124 of 07.10.1983, the tasks of the Department of Construction and Technical Affairs are as follows:
- To carry out the projects of university buildings and facilities, to issue invitations to tender, to conduct tender processes related to construction and repair, to check construction processes, to perform maintenance and repair works,
- To carry out similar works such as heating, boiler room, cold room, generator, ventilation systems, telephone switchboard, landscaping and vehicle operation, elevator maintenance and repair.
Mission:
In accordance with the establishment purpose of our university, our missions are to plan the building and technical works in line with the needs and to implement them as soon as possible.
Vision:
To ensure the realization of an original campus project which consists of modular and functional spaces and is compatible with the historical and cultural fabric of Istanbul, a campus project in which the public resources are used effectively and efficiently, in which social and cultural sharing is provided, and that can be among the ones of the world's leading universities.
